Cloud DevOps Engineer

In Transition Technologies PSC DevOps Engineers are independent and self-organized individual contributors in our Cloud Services team. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will work on automating all aspects of our cloud projects like CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and maintenance of hosted solutions in Azure/AWS/GCP.

• PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Influx, CosmoDB, DynamoDB
• REST APIs, APIgee, Webmethods
• Mixed Realty with RealWear and HoloLens 2, Industrial IoT platform like ThingWorx
• Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, ECS, Fargate
• GitLab CI, Jenkins, GoCD, CircleCI, Bamboo, Azure DevOps
• and others which we will adopt in future 😊

• Optimize systems for performance, flexibility and maintainability
• Automate, to facilitate your job and the job of all team members around you
• Develop and improve continuous delivery pipeline(s)
• Lead by example and coach other team members, from ops or dev, to grow the team capability

Requirements:

• You are passionate about DevOps culture, well-designed software and uncompromised quality
• You are able to see and understand the big picture of complex real-time environments
• Experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, .NET, Python, JS, Golang, Ruby
• Self-motivated with curiosity for new solutions and problem solving skills
• Very good understanding of Linux and Windows administration
• Experience with version control, specifically GIT
• Understanding and familiarity of Linux or Windows scripting languages

Nice to have:

• Knowledge about public clouds (AWS or Azure or GCP). If you don’t know it but you are interested in learning that’s also fine 😊
• Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
• Experience operating large-scale, distributed, business-critical systems.
• Experience with configuration automation solutions (i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Saltstack)
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL and Oracle DB in a production environment
