About our Autobooking team
Our Autobooking team’s mission is to ensure the seamless facilitation of every customer’s order, featuring our innovative Virtual Interlining product. We strive to deliver a robust and highly resilient order processing system that provides a unified method for integrating various airline reservation solutions. Collaboration is key to our success. By working closely with Product Managers and other Engineering teams, we support daily releases, enabling rapid implementation and significantly enhancing customer experience and business operations.
What you will do
As our Python Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional development teams to drive collective success. You will write stable, maintainable, and well-tested code in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Leveraging your previous experience, you will propose and design improvements to complex algorithms and design patterns, contributing to our innovative product offerings. You will communicate effectively with your colleagues to ensure seamless integration and smooth ongoing operations. You will actively engage in decision-making processes, ensuring our teams consider and incorporate a diverse range of perspectives.
What you will need
You are fluent in Python or have a strong foundation in Python coupled with fluency in another modern programming language. You have experience with some of our technologies such as GCP (eg. Cloud Tasks and Cloud Run Functions), Kubernetes, Redis, PostgreSQL, and you are familiar with DevOps principles. You are familiar with frameworks and patterns such as FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pytest, inversion of control, and asynchronous programming. You can effectively use AI tools (mainly LLMs) to support and enhance your day-to-day tasks. You are eager to learn independently, bringing curiosity and resilience. You are ready to ask questions, experiment, and grow from your experience. You thrive in a collaborative and inclusive technical setting, valuing teamwork and shared success. You demonstrate excellent communication skills in English.
