POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented iOS Developer with a passion for mobile technologies and a startup mentality to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
iOS Application Development:
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform (Native/Swift)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Effective use of version control
- Management of App Store Connect, Certificates, Profiles, etc…
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in iOS application development.
- Proficiency in Swift
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, ML Kit, CoreML, etc…
- Familiarity with API development to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle & guidelines
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
