Douro Labs is at the forefront of Web3 development. We help decentralize data services and enhance access to real-time, once-exclusive market data for all blockchain participants by contributing to some of the most important projects in the space, such as the Pyth Network, where we are one of the initial contributors.
We’re looking for a web product designer to help deliver best-in-class DeFi tools. We’re building a suite of web products that will improve developer relations, community engagement, and protocol insights into the projects we support. We need a talented designer to help us structure our user research, establish a web app design framework and component library, and develop top-notch designs for the suite of application we will deploy.
You should be quality-obsessed, comfortable working autonomously, and should enjoy bringing a unique skill set to the table. You will be working with a highly talented team, and we each bring skills that the others don’t — you’ll be the main in-house product UI/UX designer and so you must be comfortable with establishing and leading the process. You should also be passionate about both learning from and teaching teammates who will come with very diverse skills and backgrounds.
You will be responsible for bringing web UI/UX design expertise to the firm and enabling us to make the best product UX decisions and you will have a ton of trust and freedom to leverage your experience to drive us in the best direction.
Knowledge of the nuances of web — including designing features that work well across browsers, form factors, and accessibility requirements — is a must. So is comfort navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
Experience in crypto and/or finance is not a requirement, but interest in them is, and experience would be ideal.
If you’re looking to join a fast-paced, problem-solving environment that is at the nexus of blockchain infrastructure, decentralized applications, and finance apply!
