The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong proficiency with Azure, AWS, and / or GCP platforms for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
- Deep expertise in Azure, GCP, and AWS data services, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Google BigQuery, and AWS Redshift.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, or other big data technologies.
- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Design and implement cloud-based data solutions, leveraging the best practices and services from Azure, GCP, and AWS.
- Develop and manage data warehousing solutions, optimising for performance and scalability.
- Create, optimise, and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and transformation.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing and storage.
- Ensure data solutions adhere to security policies and compliance regulations.
