As an experienced Front-End Developer, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the development, testing and deployment of new business functionalities in Currency Risk Management for the global Siemens Group. Being part of our Market Risk team, you will work hand in hand with your colleagues from the IT and business department. As one of your first projects you will implement a new module of our business application Currima in .NET technologies. During operation you will have full software maintenance responsibility for this and further planned modules of this application.

  • You will be fully integrated in the development lifecycle, from analysing requirements & specifications to implementing functional and non-functional changes as well as defining and executing tests.
  • As our key expert for one of our Market Risk applications, you will be involved in the discussions and decisions about future developments as well as in the incident handling, problem analysis and bug fixing.
  • You will be monitoring the health of the application including jobs and servers.
  • You will be training our our internal team and guide the whole design / development process for the new webapp.

MUST
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably with a financial services provider
  • Professional experience in Angular as a front end developer, who can also design, build and work with the APIs.
  • Working experience with build and deployment tools like GitLab and Microsoft Azure DevOps)
  • Practical knowledge about agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban as well as Microsoft Office 365 Services
  • Strong analytical skills with a self-driven, problem solver attitude
  • Distinct service mentality as well as strong intercultural awareness and teamworking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent business English language skills
