We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Software Order Management Specialist to join our team. The successful, best-matched candidate will be responsible for managing the entire order processing cycle for our software products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from order placement to delivery. IT Software Order Management (part of IT Software & Service Order Management) mandate is to assist and support Volvo Group organization in software license management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Order processing: Handle the end-to-end order management process, including order entry, validation, renewal, and fulfillment.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and any issues that may arise. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the entire IT software team, purchasing, finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Billing and invoicing support: Invoice validation.
  • Data management: Maintain accurate records of customer orders, payments, and account status in the order management system.
  • Issue resolution: Identify and resolve order discrepancies, and customer complaints promptly. 
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on order status, to support business decisions.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in order management, preferably within the software or IT industry.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in order management software and ERP systems; strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Attention to detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot.
  • Teamwork: and ability to manage work under pressure.
