At Master Data Management (MDM) within Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will work as a Principal Software Engineer in a global context where you will actively contribute in securing the end user, business and IT requirements for Informatica MDM and support the full utilization of the platform. 

You will interact with the Digital Product Owner and the Business Analysts regarding solution requirements as well as technical experts from Informatica concerning technical details of proposed improvements and enhancements. It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context.

Additionally you are responsible to:

  • Apply MDM strategies, requirements and policies aligned to Volvo Group's vision and supporting an MDM implementation on Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
  • Design and develop the solution as per the solution architecture for a robust MDM platform that matches and consolidates key Master Data objects of Customer, Business Partner and Product
  • Plan and lead MDM requirement analysis sessions with DPOs and BAs
  • Coordinate MDM program activities for the Customer/Business Partner and Product data domains
  • Conduct source system analysis, and data profiling for lifecycle management
  • Define measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of a MDM platform

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring: 

  • 5-7 years direct experience in MDM design, development, support and operations with Informatica MDM tool suite. Preferred experience of IDMC 360 suite of applications
  • Hands-on expertise required with Informatica tools and utilities such as Customer 360, Reference 360, and Data Quality
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in defining Master Data Management strategies, implementing MDM services and capabilities, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions
  • Familiarity with enterprise data integration technologies and methods such as ETL, data replication, and data services
  • Experience with enterprise level data analysis and integration work and/or providing data focused systems integration solutions
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work remotely with good communication skills
