The Renault Trucks (part of Volvo Group) Aftermarket team cannot wait to welcome their new Java Tech Lead to support digital transformation.

You will join the team which is responsible for maintaining and enhancing system used by the Renault Trucks dealerships. You will work on both on new development and maintenance of key application for Aftermarket area involving backend and frontend areas.

Work Location: Volvo office is located in Wrocław. We work in a hybrid model (1 days per week in the office, 4 days per week remotely)

We are looking for candidate who has:

  • at least 7 years of experience with Java 8+,
  • great knowledge of Spring 5+ (Spring framework, Spring boot, Spring security, Spring config),
  • gathered hands-on experience with databases and ORM (Hibernate 5+), SQL (PL/pgSQL),
  • good understanding of REST APIs,
  • basic understanding of cloud computing: PaaS, FaaS, networking (hands-on experience with Azure is a plus),
  • knowledge of DevOps: monitoring (Grafana), CI/CD (Azure DevOps),
  • understanding of containerization concept (Docker/Podman, orchestration),
  • practical knowledge of architecture patterns: hexagonal architecture (port & adapter) and microservices.

Also, any of the following will be an additional asset:

  • experience with OS administration (Red Hat, bash script, Tomcat),
  • sgood understanding of OAuth2,
  • knowledge of front-end technologies: Swing, Open Webstart, Angular,
  • experience with: Nexus, Azure DevOps, Confluence,
  • basic experience with Azure AD, Azure functions, storages, networks (VPN Gateway).
