- 8-15+ years of hands-on software engineering
- 8+ years of experience with data in building data pipelines for high volume, variety and velocity of data and leading large scale data (not just infrastructure) migrations
- Experience developing and owning scalable microservices on cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP
- Experience in developing and scaling applications using modern frontend technologies such as Web Components, React, React Native / Flutter and ecosystem
- Experience in developing applications with modern Java backend stack using Spring Boot and Kubernetes on AWS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Expertise in creating a metrics oriented approach to software development including driving key operational metrics, full service ownership and continuous improvement
- Experience working in modern software engineering ecosystems that leverage frameworks, methodologies and technologies such as CI/CD, containerized apps, Agile (Scrum)
- Excellent collaboration, communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills. Can effectively lead a project and work cross-functionally with other organizations
