Develocraft is currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer for one of our international clients. You will work in a project regarding models and analysis centred on economic forecasts, risk assessments and speciality maritime and trade data products. Economic forecasts cover the standard macroeconomic indicators to commodities pricing to world trade flow forecasts and everything in between. Risk assessments cover risks that range from political violence to civil unrest to violent crime risk, and we do this from the level of the nation.
As a developer on our team, you will be:
- You will be creating an automated testing framework for the front-end application and collaborating with developers to address defects.
- You will be involved in investigating, logging, and resolving software bugs in the team’s backlog.
- You will be responsible for whole stack testing and working with developers to devise a testing strategy and plans for the end-to-end application.
- You will be developing behavioral testing automation for the API.
- You will be engaging in cross-team project meetings in an agile environment.

Hard skills:
- Proficient in Python.
- Experienced in using Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools for automated testing of React front-ends.
- Familiar with automated back-end testing using Behave or behavior-driven development.
- Skilled in SQL.
- Over 5 years in software testing or development, with a solid grasp of coding, testing, and debugging.
- Capable of conducting smoke and chain testing for releases.
- English language - B2
Soft skills:
- Willing to undertake small software development tasks and address bugs directly, especially during initial development phases.
- Flexibility - Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment
- Openness to people, change and new technologies
