The goal of this new team is to assist one of the largest capital market organizations with their brownfield deployment, modifying their existing environment to align to the Azure landing zone target architecture and best practices.
The key objectives are to deliver the client's vision to revolutionize the way capital markets discover, analyze, and trade securities around the World. The vision is anchored on a cloud-centric strategy that will enhance customer experience and product capabilities across our business, leverage hyperscale technology and deliver best-in-class resiliency and stability.
- Modify current environment to align to the Azure landing zones target architecture.
- Participate in the design for secure, scalable, and reliable Azure Landing Zones.
- Collaborate with other Azure Platform engineers, architects, and other roles responsible for designing and implementing an Azure Enterprise Scale Landing zone platform.
- Manage groups to ensure policy management, access, and compliance across subscriptions at scale.
- Implement Azure policies.
- Automate Azure requests, access assignments, and reviews.
- Apply Azure Advisor recommendations to ensure cost optimization and operational excellence in Azure.
- Plan, deploy, and maintaining Azure VNet hub and spoke topologies
- Help build hybrid cloud architectures.
- Orchestrate an end-to-end Azure Landing Zone deployment.
MUST
- You are a subject matter expert in designing cloud and hybrid Azure Platform solutions that run on Microsoft Azure, including computing, networking, storage, monitoring, and security.
- You have deep experience in the design and build of Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework.
- You have advanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance and have experience managing how decisions in each area affect the overall Azure Platform (Enterprise Scale Landing Zone).
- Good understanding of Azure Active Directory, Security and Polices that can be applied in an Enterprise scale company.
- Experience in project migration from on-prem to Azure Cloud. That's may include servers, virtual appliances, databases.
- Disaster Recovery plans and designing of High Availability applications.
- You have experience working in Azure administration, Azure development, and DevOps processes.
- Experience using ADO.
- Knowledge in working with API and Azure Resource Management (ARM templates).
