IT Network Administrator

For our customer, leader on the industrial real estate market, we are looking for IT Network Administrator. Person on this position will be responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining and optimizing organization’s network infrastructure. The individual will be also collaborating with the IT Departments members and external contractors to ensure performance, security and stability of organization network infrastructure.

Project information:

• Location: Warsaw (hybrid model of work: 3 days from the office, 2 days from home)
• Type of employment: contract of employment or B2B contract
• Remuneration: up to 14 000 gross on contract of employment or 14 000 net + VAT on B2B
• Level: Mid
• Project language: Polish and English
• Contract length: Indefinite/ long-term
• Start date: depending on candidate’s availability

•  Creating and implementing new network solutions, considering company requirements and industry best practices.
• Designing network architecture, including topology, IP addressing, segmentation, and security measures.
• Configuring, installing, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Monitoring performance and detecting potential issues.
• Implementing network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IS, and analyzing network traffic to detect and respond to threats.
• Continuously monitoring network performance, identifying areas for optimization, and scaling infrastructure to accommodate the organization's growing needs.
• Providing technical assistance to the IT team and users regarding connectivity and network infrastructure matters.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of projects, configuration changes, and network-related activities.

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Network Administrator or in related positions. 
• Practical experience with designing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Profound understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP,OSPF VLAN, VPN,LAN/WAN, WiFi and other networking protocols.
• Ability to design and configurate intricate networks, including topology, IP addressing, and security features, scalability and redundancy.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices including routers, switches, firewalls.
• Familiarity with diagnostic and monitoring tools for identifying and resolving network issues.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Good command of English (at least B2 level).
• Capability to effectively manage time and priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Nice to have: 

• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Sonicwall SCNSA/SCNSP/CSSA, validating technical skills.
• Basic Linux administration skills.
