IT Infrastructure (Chief) Specialist / Server Operations

We are looking for IT Infrastructure Specialist – Server Operations fot IT Global Infrastructure (Nordics, UK, CE, USA). The person will manage IT systems and infrastructure. Within these tasks, he/she will be reporting directly to the Server Operations Manager in Skanska IT Global Infrastructure.

preferred place of work: Kraków 
we are also open to other locations (remote work possible)

•  Provides IT Infrastructure services in Server Operations area for Skanska Global
• Installs and manages server Windows Server (Linux not req, but good to have)
• Performs virtual server administration (Hyper-V and VMware)
• Backs up servers and applications (NetBackup)
• Performs scripting (PowerShell)
• Manages File service
• Works with server hardware in our Data Center in Krakow
• Performs system monitoring (SCOM)
• Installs and configures network elements
• Manages storage
• Documentation of Infrastructure
• Manages or prepares and implements at least one global IT project in the field of IT infrastructure

• You have university education in IT Infrastructure
• You have 3+ years experience in the field of IT MS Windows server
• You have excellent skills and knowlegde in IT systems
• You have excellent analytical skills
• You have very good project management skills
• You are persistent and able to look for alternative solutions
• You have experience with large environment
• You are fluent English speaker (min. B2 level)
• You are fluent Polish speaker (C2)
