The Data Scientist will have the following responsibilities:
- Developing data driven algorithms that predict disruptions, optimize operations and increase situational awareness
- Building machine learning models for prediction, fault detection, optimization and cluster identification
- Exploratory data analysis of aviation data
- Modifying, cleaning, transforming data sets
- Identifying irregularities in data, investigating data characteristics, identifying trends and outliers
- Preparing summaries with results of statistical analysis and data visualization
- Creating scripts and algorithms for data processing and working on data pipeline
- Building interactive dashboards for data exploration
- Feature engineering
- Evaluating and testing data processing algorithms
- BA degree in data science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or similar
- Experience in data science or data analysis
- Experience in programming and data processing in Python with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy Experience in fields such as machine learning, statistics, data processing
- Nice to have: Tableau, SQL, Machine Learning algorithms, Scientific reasoning
