What you'll do
- Work with other highly experienced engineers on designing, building and maintaining our PIM System.
- Design and implement solutions spanning all layers of the technology stack that we utilise.
- Act as an architectural and engineering authority for a development team(s) during mission critical projects.
- Mentor developers working on the same project.
- Establish development standards and communication interfaces.
What we're looking for
- Experience with large, multiservice eco-systems that use multiple protocols and paradigms to communicate.
- Significant experience with software architecture design and implementation.
- Experience building and maintaining distributed services using Golang 1.15+ (system services, RESTFul APIs, gRPC APIs and proxy apps)
- Experience with asynchronous processing based on messaging systems (RabbitMQ preferred).
- Experience working with large volume data sets in both relational and document databases.
- Past experience with PHP 7.X will be an advantage.
