Senior .NET Developer with TelCom background

Start: ASAP /  1 month notice period preferred

Joining this project, you will be taking part in the whole software development lifecycle, being able to influence design choices. You will also be taking part in planning and you will be a part of releasing new products and features.

The team is responsible for a cloud-based telephony system, serving its customers with real-time voice- and video communication solutions. The communications platform is a distributed system, both in the geographical sense, where it provides globally distributed points of presence and access to the platform and in its internal service-oriented architecture.

• Being responsible for the integration and development of voice communication (or core calling) features.
• Influencing design choices.
• Taking part in the whole software development lifecycle.
• Building, maintaining, and configuring CI/CD pipelines.
• Providing major platform improvements.
• Writing technical documentation.

• 6+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in .NET.
• Experience with .NET Core development. 
• Experience with shipping code in a CI/CD pipeline and actively looking for ways to improve the effectiveness of the pipeline
• Experience working on Linux using Docker/Kubernetes (microservices & SOA architecture).
• Experience in working with distributed systems in an AWS environment or experience in working with any cloud environment in general (Azure, GCP).
• Working with different test strategies and having a deep understanding of testing (Unit tests, Integration tests, E2e tests, Performance tests).
• Experience in globally used products (globally replicated data and global deployment).
• Working with high scale and availability.
• Experience in the Telecom sector.
• Excellent English skills.
