Technical Project Leader

Our Team is one of the largest speech and language processing teams in Europe.

We work closely with other R&D teams to develop and test the next-generation personal Intelligent Assistant.

In our lab engineers, researchers and language experts work together on innovative products for multi-lingual European market. We define the way users’ access, explore and interact with devices, knowledge, information and services.

Samsung R&D Poland office is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support management of Bixby R&D that creates the future of voice assistant services.

• Working in a R&D Teams executing on major Samsung R&D Artificial Intelligence projects (check out https://bixby.developer.samsung.com/),
• Supporting the leaders of the projects with data management and analysis as well as stakeholder communication including R&D Teams, Headquarters, etc.
• Analyzing results, trends and adjusting project directions,
• Managing risks,
• Coordinating periodic reporting with a number of stakeholders (different seniority levels)
• Undertaking data analysis tasks where good prior knowledge of Excel or basic programming skills would be advantageous.

Skills and Qualifications

• Master Degree in a field of Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or similar,
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or programs in IT, Software Development or other Engineering domains,
• Demonstrated experience of Project Management knowledge areas (certification in Project Management, e.g. PMP(r), PRINCE, AgilePM would be a plus),
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environments while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities,
• Understanding of software development lifecycle,
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel tools,
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills,
• Fluency in business English (verbally and in writing).

Nice to Have

• Agile experience,
• Experience in GIT, Github, Jenkins,
• Experience in NLP related projects,
• Interest in NLP (ASR, TTS, NLU) area,
• Communicative skills in any of the following languages would be a plus: French, Italian, Spanish, German, Korean.
