Network & Services International (NWI) develops, plans, builds and operates international network infrastructure of DTAG and produces intercarrier and wholesale services for Telekom Global Carriers.
The unit Voice, Signaling & Services Infrastructure is responsible for engineering (incl. 2nd/3rd service level), planning and the roll-out of international voice and signalling services/platforms.
As a DevOps Engineer you will develop advanced technical solutions for the expansion and operation of infrastructure/services and raise them to the next level of quality.
- You support highly complex projects directly in the development, quality assurance and planning as well as implementation of product releases
- You develop strategies for automated integration and delivery including the cross-project infrastructure and tool suite
- You will work on the development of new deployment strategies and disaster recovery plans
- You will work closely with the operations team to improve process efficiency and the performance of the software and system landscapes, dealing intensively with innovative topics and concepts
- You manage strategically oriented projects
- You have a bachelor/ master’s degree/ comparable vocational training with a corresponding specialization/ subject-specific additional training/ several years of professional experience in the field of ICT system engineering
- Very good experiences in classic and agile forms of cooperation
- Excellent experience in managing strategically oriented projects
- Outstanding knowledge of agile development methods
- Outstanding knowledge of DevOps technologies
- Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of market, technology and competitor environments in the information technology and telecommunications industries, including digital transformation
- Very good knowledge of 2G-5G mobile technologies is desirable but not mandatory
- Very good knowledge of virtualization environments (VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes) including support tools and application integration
