- Building high-quality software
- Unit testing, continuous integration, refactoring, code reviews and meeting project requirements.
- Working in Agile development methods/practices
- Contributing as a fully embedded member of an agile team, working directly with other team members to define, plan, and execute work

- Creating, improving and maintaining software components utilizing appropriate software language(s) while applying the necessary engineering theory and logic to meet overall project requirements

- At least 4 years of experience in Java application development
- Experience with Spring Framework, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, Git.
- Strong understanding of testing and QA
- Knowledge of Java web application performance
- An interest in working with the Apple Mac OS X and iOS platforms.
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results-driven culture
