As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure of our client's IT systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
- Automating deployments, scaling, and maintenance using Ansible
- Monitoring and maintaining the availability, security, and performance of Linux/Unix systems
- Implementing and maintaining DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment
- Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a System Administrator with expertise in Linux/Unix
- Experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing production clusters
- Experience with Ansible and automation of deployment, scaling, and maintenance tasks
- Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment
- Strong scripting skills, including Shell, Python, or Perl
- Good understanding of networking protocols and concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Good command of English
Nice to Have:
The following are not required, but they would be considered a plus:
- A higher education degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering (Master/PhD is a plus)
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with other containerization platforms such as Docker
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Experience with or open to working in a remote team
