We are looking for a Senior Software Developer for our Clean Code Chapter to join our team and work with our existing squads to champion clean software development best practices in SAFe methodology.

- Coding, testing, documenting and debugging assigned development tasks to meet acceptance criteria
- Refactoring legacy code to improve readability and testability
- Participate in learning via code reviews and chapter learning activities and design reviews
- Support the implementation of features according to designs and specifications
- Implementing unit tests for new and existing code
- Review proposed test cases and test automation to execute them
- Communicate ideas and plans verbally and written in support of the team
- Solving well defined issues for support and customers as needed
- Support agile development concepts and participate in our SAFe process

Skills/Experience:
- Hands-on experience with C# programming
- Excellent understanding of clean coding practices & principles (SOLID, CUPID, etc.)
- Legacy code refactoring patterns
- SonarQube or other code quality analyzers
- Unit testing, possibly including test driven development
- Unit testing tools and frameworks (xUnit, etc.)
- Teamwork and communication
Nice to have:
- automated functional testing frameworks
- Python, Perl or other scripting language
- experience with API services as a plus
- AWS or other cloud
- ideally AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Developer or willing to earn certification within the first year at NAVBLUE (supported and funded by NAVBLUE).
