• Strong knowledge and understanding of security implications in: TCP/IP, TLS, QOS, SDN, VLAN, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, HSRP, GLBP, SNMP, IGMP, RTP, SIP, RADIUS, TACACS+,
•  802.11ac, 802.11.ax, IPSec, SSLVPN, SS7, Diameter, GTP
• Ability to use antiDDoS tools such as Arbor, for example
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture security concepts
• Proficiency in cloud security (from a networking perspective), preferably AWS
• Experience with Web Application Firewalls
• Experience with Next Generation Firewalls
• Experience with access points, routers, switches, gateways, hubs, bridges and modems
• In-depth knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols

Nice to have:

• Experience in conducting hazard modeling and design reviews from a security perspective
• Knowledge of telecommunications technologies such as 4G/5G/IMS
• Cisco CCIE, NSE8
• AWS certifications
• Knowledge of IoT
