Currently we’re recruiting for a Data Governance Manager to join our team on Middle East projects.

What We Do in the area of Data Management and Data Governance

We help our clients reimagine their data capability through governance and change their organizational mindset. We enhance this capability by developing data frameworks, building the strategy, optimizing infrastructure, processes and systems, and creating the culture. 

• Developing, running and conducting data management maturity assessments using well known assessment models and techniques, with particular emphasis on DAMA standards and guidelines;
• Designing and developing Data Governance operating models that include Data Governance roles and responsibilities, organization, processes, tools selection, roadmap implementations and KPIs;
• Creating high quality and detailed documentation defining Data Governance policies and procedures;
• Developing RFPs (functional and technical requirements) for digitizing data management & governance operations;
• Outlining data architecture and data integration patterns, designing Data Governance artifacts such as  data dictionaries, business glossary, data models/ERD, defining data quality processes and KPIs, implementing metadata management standards;
• Designing enterprise data management concepts such as Master Data Management;
• Analyzing data solutions in the context of business applications, cost optimization, client’s strategic needs and future growth.

• At least 7 years of work experience in working with Data Governance or Enterprise Information Management programs including min 2-year experience in implementation of such programs(any role);
• Experience with data management standards, DAMA standard in particular, including usage of DAMA Maturity Assessment Framework;
• Experience in using Data Management tools covering all or selected aspects of data management lifecycle (data architecture, modeling & design, storage & operations, security, integration, master data management, data warehousing, metadata, data quality);
• Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to summarize complex issues / data sets and  share it effectively with management;
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills - ability to prepare management presentations, give a speech to senior management, lead workshops etc.
• Having familiarity of one or more is a big plus:GDPR, data privacy and security standards, DCAM or related Data Governance frameworks;
• Understanding and experience with one or more of the following or equivalent technologies - Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Zaloni, Alteryx is a big plus. The same for knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence solutions, reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data querying and processing languages such as SQL, Python/Spark etc.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields;
