Data Management Specialist

Regardless of the size of business, proper analysis of data enables leaders to make right and timely business decisions, identify and predict problems, verify correctness and performance of implemented solutions, optimizations, marketing campaigns etc

Data Practice at PwC IT Services is a group of over 30 professionals helping our clients to become data-driven organisations and take advantage of data they collect & process by delivering full-scale, cloud based data & analytics platforms and reporting solutions. We cooperate with clients from a variety of industries e.g. manufacturing, pharmaceutical, financial services, telecommunications, FMCG etc. and geographies.

Currently we are looking for experienced Data Management Specialists to join our Data Practice.

As a Data Management Specialists you will:

• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures,
• Design and implement data management systems, processes, and policies to ensure the security and integrity of data,
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure data is used consistently across the organisation,
• Monitor data quality and coordinate data cleansing efforts,
• Develop and implement metadata management processes,
• Support maintenance and management of data repositories, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of data,
• Train, coach, and supervise less experienced teammates,
• Actively contribute to shaping and development of our data practice value proposition.

Preferred skills & experience:

• At least 4 years of experience in data management & governance or a related field,
• Strong understanding of Data Management principles, techniques, and technologies,
• Understanding of Data Quality related techniques, metrics and tools,
• Experience in Master Data Management area,
• Knowledge of SQL, ETLs, databases, and data warehousing,
• Very good communication skills (both oral and written communication) - able to communicate and present cogently to clients’ representatives and internal PWC staff of all levels (both business & technical),
• Team player (experience in working in international environment is a plus),
• Good command of English (C1 level).

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar tool(s),
• Experience with data visualisation tools,
• banking experience.
