The role of Junior IT Security Manager (IT Risk) will be responsible for support of the Global IT Security organization at DB Schenker including the IT Security risk management program and security compliance. The role will be responsible for the identification and tracking of risks with a special focus on Customers and third-party audits.

  • Coordination of internal and external IT Security audit processes (group and key Customer level)
  • provide feedback on controls implemented by the IT organization
  • support during assessment - document identified organizational risks for IT Security organization process purposes
  • follow up risk mitigation in dedicated tools - support of Audit items database
  • facilitate escalation process for not closed risks
  • facilitate reporting (risks and identified best practices)
  • verification of responses provided to the Customers and maintenance of FAQ database
  • Reviews IT Compliance with legal and contractual environments (vendor assessment process)
  • Support during on-site or remote audit procedures (internal and vendor related)
  • Daily support in IT Security management tasks

  • Knowledge of SOC2, ISO27000, NIST, CIS20, CSA, PCI DSS, and COBIT (preferably confirmed by professional certification)
  • Experience in IT Risk Management (IT security issue lifecycle, tools, mitigation techniques)
  • Knowledge of IT security audit management procedures
  • Experience in dealing with customer audits and integrated internal audits delivery
  • Good presentation skills, ability to clearly document and convey ideas to stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solution-oriented team player with a positive attitude to work at hand
  • Ability to work with multi-national organization and cultures
  • Fluency in English
