GENERAL TASKS AND DUTIES:
- Designing and developing cloud-based solutions
- Gathering established environments and overarching functional requirement and transforming them into modern cloud native architectures and solutions
- Development and implementation of scalable, automated solutions using current technologies
- Innovation and technology consulting to various organizations within SMA to create additional value.
- Market evaluation for both new and mature infrastructure technologies, solutions and market trends
- Feasibility studies and prototyping to evaluate and verify the maturity level and efficiency gain of vendors and solution
- Taking over the project management in an agile team to transform existing IT infrastructure services and operations using new technologies.
- Acting across infrastructure domains and organizations to ensure companywide benefit and synergies
- Gathering of requirements for infrastructure, conducting a TCO analysis and supporting redesign and standardization activities.

Who we're looking for?
- Certificated Cloud Architect for Azure or AWS
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and an understanding of the limitations, pitfalls and benefits of the offered products
- Hands on experience with container orchestration, Kubernetes and Terraform in Azure or AWS environments
- Experience with cloud solutions and the full development life-cycle ranging from creating functional and technical specifications, documentation, QA processes, continuous integration up to deployment.
- Experience in understanding established environments and overarching functional requirements and transforming them into modern cloud native architectures and solutions.
- Reference in the development and implementation of scalable, automated solutions using current technologies is an advantage.
- Scripting skills including Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc. are an advantage.
