As the Application Analyst, you are responsible for managing the Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) owned global applications (web based as well as packaged applications) and supporting the Service Manager with reports, maintaining documentation, coordinating software updates and requests, addressing integration issues with software packages and more.

  • Act as Application owner and handle the maintaining and supporting of our GIS global applications and the application portfolio offering
  • Responsible for license setup for applications in portfolio
  • System administration and configuration at a basic level
  • Coordinate and work closely with business to encourage use of global tools
  • Compiling and creation of user communication and tutorials
  • Coordinate analysis, testing, and documentation for Global Application related tasks
  • Monitor aging of applications/patching and coordinating timely updates
  • Coordination, prioritization, and tracking of new requests and business requirements in alignment with the Service Manager decided processes and routines
  • Escalate for missing documentation, missing application owners or other situations where process and requirements are not upheld
  • Act as a point of contact/quality gate keeper to ensure operational readiness
  • Maintain the related service catalogue items

Experienced person in the area of ITSM and in-depth knowledge of the processes of service management (ITIL).

Additional skill requirements are:

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices
  • Very good Excel skills, knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Comfortable working with Office applications
  • Experience working with an ITSM tool, Service Catalog, CMDB (Configuration Management Database), Asset and Config Management (e.g., Service Now).
  • Ability to handle analysis and system configuration at a basic level
  • Ability to manage small projects
  • Excellent English language skills
