The DevOps Engineer will be part of project dedicated to Global Data Strategy & Analytic unit that is responsible for Data Science, Data Engineering and Business Consulting.  

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining applications in modern cloud environments, taking into account the latest technological developments. This role interlinks IT Development and IT Operations while automating the process of software delivery and deployment. 

  • Develop and maintain existing AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure scripts
  • Develop and maintain existing application server setup and configuration
  • Develop and maintain existing database server running PostgreSQL, MySQL, ...
  • Create proxy and load balancer configuration
  • Create and maintain user setup and permissions (users, key management)
  • Support frontend and backend developers with integration of existing authentication software
  • Manage credentials of external services, manage and support staging configuration
  • Create and maintain backup and recovery strategy
  • Create logging and monitoring infrastructure and configuration
  • Create and setup development environments upon user request (e.g., create server instance running Oracle docker with database dump)
  • Support development and build environment infrastructure (e.g., Gitlab, runner, Sonar, Jenkins, Docker registry)


  • At least 2 years of experience on similar position
  • Proficient understanding of branching strategies and code versioning tools, preferably Git
  • Experience with test-driven development, test automation and scripting languages
  • Proficient in English reading and writing
  • Profound knowledge of container technology, esp. Docker, eco system, and Kubernetes
  • Profound knowledge of Terraform and Ansible deployment automation
  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies and services, like virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, authentication and identity, load-balancers.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux operating system configuration, maintenance and installation
  • Knowledge of setup and administering distributed logging and monitoring, like ELK, Prometheus
  • Knowledge of HTTP server, proxies and forwarders like Apache, Nginx
  • Basic knowledge of IT security standards, like OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities, etc.
  • Basic database setup and administration skills
